Installed in December 2010, 12840 Gallery is Blue Island's second pop-up art gallery. Pop-up art galleries are temporary displays, bringing new life to empty storefronts. The 12840 Gallery artists came together in hopes to brighten this space and create opportunities for artists in the area. More recently, 12840 Gallery featured work by Blue Island artist, Ricardo Gonzalez.

Currently, 12840 Gallery has organized a call for participation called Blue Heart. More information about Blue Heart can be found on the left side bar.

The artists would like to thank Jennie Malysa, Amy Malysa and gallery volunteers for your time and help making the gallery possible. The gallery space is donated and all efforts are volunteer.
